SLReviewFlow PDF Sender privacy policy

This policy covers the SLReviewFlow PDF Sender extension for Chrome and Edge, published by Research Mind LLC.

What the extension does

SLReviewFlow PDF Sender sends the PDF of an article you can open in your own browser, under your own library access, to the SLReviewFlow report you started from. It works only after you choose Get it through my browser on a report in your SLReviewFlow account, and it sends a file only when you click Send.

What it handles

  • From SLReviewFlow: a single-use upload ticket, the report's identifier and title, and the article address to open. The article address is used only to open the tab and is not kept. The ticket, identifier and title are held in the extension's session memory for that one tab: the ticket and identifier are deleted when the PDF is sent or SLReviewFlow refuses the ticket, and the title stays so the extension can show which report the tab finished for. Everything is deleted when the tab or browser closes.
  • From the tab you click: the PDF file you choose to send and the host name of the site it came from (for example www.tandfonline.com), which is recorded with the upload.

What it never collects

The extension does not read your browsing history, cookies, passwords or form data, does not read pages you have not clicked it on, and contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code. It fetches the PDF inside the tab using the access you already have; your library or publisher credentials never leave the site you signed in to.

Where the data goes

The PDF and its host name go only to SLReviewFlow (slreviewflow.com and the storage provider it uses for project files), and only into the report the ticket was issued for. There the PDF is stored in your project exactly like a PDF you upload yourself. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone else.

Permissions

  • activeTab: access to the current tab, only when you click the extension.
  • scripting: runs the PDF lookup and download inside that tab, so it uses the tab's own sign-in.
  • storage: keeps the one-time ticket for that tab in session memory, which web pages cannot read.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

The use of information received from the SLReviewFlow PDF Sender extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes and contact
